Poseidon was believed to be the "God of the Waters" and the "Earth-Shaker". His Roman equivalent is named Neptune. He was also a son of Cronus and Rhea and is brother to Zeus and Hades. The weapon Poseidon received from the Cyclopes after the Titan War was the Trident. Some of his children include Theseus, Triton, Polyphemus, Belus, Agenor, and Neleus.
